Recently i've started watching Dragon Ball and it's so hilarious, everything that Goku says is a riot!

This is a frame of him right after cheerfully hugging a boulder until it exploded.

Also, I have never drawn an anime character before, so this is my first time! Start with something easy, right?

Another fairly large one :D

30x40 inches
Acrylic on canvas

My next project has me slightly stressed, but i think i can make my deadline! :D

**This is a piss poor photo because i can't get any natural light seeing as it's night here. I'll update it soon!

lol! So cute! I remember this scene from DB. :) I'm a huge fan of DB and DBZ and so are my girls. Got my two hooked on the sagas of DBZ and the books as well. Gotta pass on the good shit to the new generations. XD

Wow, you're so prolific. I wish I could put out as much art as you do! I'm such a slug.

This is an awesome piece, love what you're doing with shading and backgrounds too. Though I'm not familiar with DragonBall, I can see the energy of the show reflected in this excellent painting. Whoa, it's a big one too.

Do you find it more easy to work with larger canvass or smaller?

Thanks man!

I'm pretty driven by this arbitrary goal i set for myself to do 52 paintings this year. The looming deadline seems to be an excellent motivator for me, even if it's a meaningless!

There's a lot more planning and work that goes into the larger canvases but i enjoy them the most. It's nice to be able to sit and easily manipulate a small canvas, but get a good buzz from working on the big ones. The bigger the better. If i can get my hands on some 10 foot canvases, i will!

Dude that is a noble goal to get those paintings done, something else really. I know that you're going to do it too.

I'd love to play around with much larger pieces too, but time and fate won't allow that now. Actually I'm thinking about going smaller, because I think that's what people want in my art. We shall see when I knock out some mini cels. It'll be fun. Keep up the great work! :)
